Qualifying for a Live Local unit requires meeting a combination of employer and income eligibility.

To qualify for the Live Local rates, your household income must be at or below 80% to 100% of the annual median income, and at least one member of the household must be employed in Collier County, classified as a frontline employee under the Collier County guidelines.

Employment Requirements

Residents who are considered to be Essential Services Personnel (ESP) are provided first access to units under the Live Local Act in Collier County. If designated Live Local units are still available after 45 days of marketing an available unit, employment requirements are waived.

The first access period has ended as of January 5th, 2025, and all employer requirements are now waived.
